When Maku was escaping the spirit world, the VSrangers were aware of this sudden change of the future and quickly took action to stop him and the 4 other villains he was going to bring back.

They fought long and hard, but ultimately the 5 Great villains had the higher power and crushed the VSrangers to dust. Maku and the others happily continue their escape to crush the newest group of Super Sentais, the Gekirangers.

Although the VSrangers were crushed to dust, their Fighting Damashi (Spirits) could never disappear. Hence the soul of each ranger searched far and wide around the world to find hosts with the specific qualities and virtues to give them a form to defeat the treat.

Black Typhoon is a Left Handed, half Japanese-American Real ninja, his mom was a modern Japanese Ninja and his dad was an American Secret Agent. His parents fell in love when they were assigned to hunt down each other. They secretly got married and gave birth to him. When his parents were finally caught by both of their countries, his uncles and aunts from both sides raised him as both a Ninja and a Spy. He has a very protective nature, and gladly takes assignments to be someone’s bodyguard. He is slowly gaining information on the ones who killed his parents.

KiYellow felt his will to protect lives in him and appeared in his dream to ask him to be his host. Because of his skill as a Ninja, KiYellow gave him the force of the Kakurangers and the Hurricanegers.
